Trying a low dose rapamycin pulse – what I noticed after 6 weeks

I’m pretty new to the longevity stuff so I decided to give low dose rapamycin a shot after reading about it on here. I got a prescription from a telemedicine clinic and started with 4 mg once a week, taken on Sunday nights with water. For the first couple weeks I didn’t feel much different, just a tiny bit of dry mouth midweek that went away after I drank more water.

Around week four I noticed I was waking up a little easier in the mornings and my usual afternoon slump felt less intense, though I can’t say for sure if that’s the rapamycin or just getting more sleep. My workouts felt about the same, no big strength jumps or anything. I also kept an eye on my fasting glucose and it stayed steady in the low 80s.

I’m planning to keep going for a few more months and maybe add spermidine later to see if there’s any additive effect. If anyone else has tried a similar pulse and noticed anything with sleep or energy I’d love to hear what worked for you. Just remember to talk to your doctor before starting anything like this.
