An oral DHT-derived androgen (Proviron) used medically for androgen deficiency and, non-medically, more as an ancillary to lower SHBG and add "hardness" than as a mass-builder. Educational reference only.

How Mesterolone Works

Mesterolone is a DHT derivative that is orally active without 17aa alkylation (so low liver stress). It binds SHBG strongly, freeing up other androgens, and has anti-estrogenic effects, but weak muscle-building activity on its own.
