HGH Fragment 176-191 (Human Growth Hormone Fragment 176-191)

Category: Weight Management. Status: Research compound.

The lipolytic fragment of human growth hormone (amino acids 176-191). Retains fat-burning properties of HGH without growth-promoting or diabetogenic effects.

How it works

Mimics lipolytic action of HGH by stimulating beta-3 adrenergic receptors on adipocytes, increasing cyclic AMP and hormone-sensitive lipase activity. Does not affect IGF-1.

Research

  • Lipolytic effects of GH fragment 176-191 in obese mice (2018): Produced significant fat mass reduction without affecting lean mass, glucose, or IGF-1 levels.
  • Fat metabolism modulation by GH peptide fragments (2020): 176-191 fragment stimulated lipolysis at rates comparable to full hGH while showing no diabetogenic potential.

  • pulsatile_pat rated it 5/5 - Better recovery and deeper sleep at 3 months: HGH Fragment 176-191 has been a solid addition to my protocol. The GH release translates to better sleep, improved recovery, and a gradual improvement in body composition that I did not get from training alone. I track my sleep with a wearable and my deep sleep percentage went from 12% to about 18-20% within the first two weeks. That alone is worth it for recovery. The body comp changes are more subtle but visible in progress photos over 2-3 months. No significant side effects at the doses I am running. Occasionally wake up with slightly puffy hands but it resolves within an hour. Recommend
  • dose_diary_alex rated it 5/5 - Sleep quality improvement was the first thing I noticed: Running HGH Fragment 176-191 for 2 months now, primarily for recovery and body composition. The first benefit I noticed was dramatically better sleep, deeper and more restorative, within the first week. Body composition changes came slower but are real. Leaner midsection, slightly fuller muscles, and my recovery between training sessions is noticeably improved. Not dramatic bodybuilder gains, more like everything works a bit better. Side effects have been minimal. Some water retention in the first 2 weeks that settled down, and occasional numbness in my fingers in the morning that goes away
  • fasted_frank rated it 4/5 - Body comp changes subtle but real: About 3 months into my HGH Fragment 176-191 protocol and the compound is doing what it is supposed to. Sleep is deeper, skin quality is better, fat around the midsection is slowly reducing, and my recovery from training is improved. The key insight I have learned is patience. This is not an overnight transformation. It is a slow, steady optimization that compounds over weeks and months. People who quit after 2 weeks are not giving it enough time. Only downsides: some mild joint stiffness early on (actually a sign it is working) and the fasted dosing schedule is sometimes inconvenient. Worth

  • codes_optimizer rated it 4/5 - Slow Cut Helped My Waist, Not My Appetite: I ran HGH Fragment 176-191 for about 8 weeks while I was trying to trim down a bit for meets and still keep my strength up. For me, the main thing was my waist looked a little tighter and my lower back fat came off cleaner than usual, which was nice ngl. I did not feel some crazy appetite change or dramatic fat melt, just a steady small shift that matched my training and diet. One caveat, it felt pretty subtle, so if someone expects a big visual change fast, they’ll probably be disappointed.
  • recovery_midwest rated it 4/5 - six weeks of hgh frag while juggling grad school: i tried hgh fragment 176-191 while i was buried in grad school stuff on the east coast and still trying to keep my lifting decent in my 50s. the first 2 weeks i honestly felt nothing, which i kind of expected. around week 3 my waist started to look a little tighter, and by week 4 i was down a few pounds. by week 6 i was about 7 lbs lighter. good run overall, just wish the appetite piece was a little more obvious.
